Children's Village is proud to announce that The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) has selected Children's Village as one of the top ten early childhood education programs in the nation for its leadership in engaging diverse families and for its unwavering commitment to improving early childhood practice.

Selected from programs around the country, Children's Village participated in a comprehensive process that included a site visit.  The award highlights the fundamental importance of excellence in early childhood education and the powerful impact of engaging families as partners in children's early learning experiences.

Mary Graham and the Board of Directors proudly applaud the staff whose professionalism and committment to excellence help create the best learning opportunities for young children.  The award ceremony will take place in Phoenix, Arizona in June and will be attended by Mary Graham and staff members.

                  CV MAINTAINS EXCELLENCE WITH
                KEYSTONE STARS FOUR STAR RATING 

January 2009 -In order to maintain its Four Star rating by Pennsylvania's Keystone STARS rating system of early childhood programs, CV welcomed evaluators from the Department of Early Childhood Development from the Regional Key.  Over a period of one and one-half months, every classroom at CV was visited and assessed according to the Environmental Rating Scale (ERS). CV attained a rating of 6.25, a near perfect score, indicating excellence in sustaining its programs.  Again, in July, evaluators came to CV specifically evaluating communications and record-keeping, both fundamental to standards of excellence.  Upon completion of this visit, CV received a Keystone STARS Four Star rating.
